Description
The public art sculpture by Pablo Picasso in Daley Plaza is the first major public artwork in Downtown Chicago that didn’t feature sculptured artwork of historical figures. A gift to the people of Chicago, Picasso never explained what the sculpture was intended to represent, but people have speculated that it looks like an aardvark, Afghan Hound, baboon head, or the Egyptian deity Anubis.
