Description
Comerica Park is home to the Detroit Tigers and named after Comerica Bank - which was founded in Detroit, MI. An open-air ballpark, the stadium can seat over 41,000 spectators, and at the time of construction, the left field scoreboard was the largest in the Major Leagues. The first game was held on April 11, 2000 against the Seattle Mariners with Detroit winning 5-2.
