Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

The Algoma Pierhead Light sits outside the Algoma, Wisconsin harbor, once home to one of the largest commercial fishing fleet on Lake Michigan. Originally standing twenty-six feet high, the light was raised to increase visibility of the light. This was accomplished by adding a twelve-foot tall cylindrical steel base in 1932 and lifting the original 1908 tower on top increasing the overall height to forty-two feet. Since the access pier was frequently battered by waves over its surface, a cast-iron cat walk was installed so the light keeper could safely access the lighthouse during inclement weather.
