The Eyrarbakki is part of the Washington Island Ferry Fleet, providing service to Washington Island, Wisconsin. Built in 1970 by Bay Ship Building in Sturgeon Bay, WI - the ferry is named after the village in Iceland which was the port of emigration for many Icelanders who came to Washington Island in the late 1800s.
